These Terms and Conditions govern the supply of goods sold by Handyman Centre (“we” and “us”) to the customer (“you”)

Terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. The consumer’s statutory rights are not excluded or limited in any way in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act.

Errors and Omissions Excepted (E&OE):
Every care is taken by Handyman Centre to ensure that all information on their website is present and correct – sometimes there may still be errors on this website. If you find an error or omission, please let us know, and we will correct is as soon as possible after verification. We apologise for any inconvenience that may be caused due to any errors or omissions present.
Price and Payment
We must receive payment for the whole of the price of the goods we supply to you before delivery unless we have agreed otherwise in advance in writing.
VAT @ 18% is already included in prices shown.
Satisfactory delivery is a crucial part of the service offered by Handyman Centre, and we aim to provide an efficient, professional and punctual delivery schedule for all our products. Due to the nature of the equipment we provide, we’re committed to providing a safe courier service to get the goods you need in perfect condition.
During adverse weather conditions we will do our utmost to ensure your goods get to you on time, you will be advised of any delays due to adverse weather.
What are your delivery charges?
Orders over €50.00 will be delivered free of charge to any address in Malta or Gozo. Orders under €50.00 carry a €10.00 fee. We will contact you by telephone within 1 working day following the receipt of your order (except Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) to make arrangements for delivery.
Orders are accepted by phone, email or on line by submitting the appropriate form.
Payments for orders can be made by PayPal or card at time of ordering. Alternatively, payments may be made in cash on delivery of orders in Malta and Gozo.
Orders will be accepted from any country. Overseas sales are subject to carriage and postal charges and will only be shipped when the order is complete. Arrangements can be made to dispatch the goods by air, sea or courier service, which will be charged at cost. Please contact Handyman Centre sales department for a quotation.
Standard delivery is Monday-Friday, Saturday delivery is available at a premium, if Saturday delivery is available this option will be displayed within the check out.
Cancellation / Returns
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel the order in writing by letter or e-mail within 14 working days after the day on which the goods are received. Without giving a reason and the full price and delivery charge will be refunded.
You will be responsible for the costs of returning the product. The product should be returned as soon as reasonably practicable. Should you fail to do so, we are entitled to charge you for the costs of recovery of the goods. You have a duty to take reasonable care of the goods whilst in your possession.
If on return of any product during the cancellation period it is not received in a reasonable condition this may allow us to make a claim for breach of your statutory duty to take reasonable care of the goods.
All returned products of this nature are photographed on arrival at our goods in department.
Goods must be in an unused and re-saleable condition.
Where a product is returned under the cancellation provisions above we will refund the cost of the product and any order/delivery charges incurred in delivering the product to you within 30 days of receiving notice of cancellation.
If the product you purchase is not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose or as described, we will offer a repair, exchange or refund as appropriate and in accordance with your legal rights under the Sale of Goods Act. Any such products can be returned to us free of charge.
We will not be liable to you, whether arising as a result of breach of contract or in tort or otherwise for any loss of profits, administrative inconvenience, disappointment, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising as a result of any problem in relation to the goods, although this does not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

All guarantees, warranties and assistance from Handyman Centre are offered in addition to your statutory rights as a consumer.

The Firm endeavours to respond to complaints within 5 working days. We always endeavour to handle complaints fairly and swiftly, keeping the customer informed about progress. Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payment. Through Stripe or Paypal we accept most credit cards including: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo, American Express, Visa, Visa Debit, and Visa Electron, We must receive payment for the whole of the price of the goods we supply to you before delivery unless we have agreed otherwise in advance in writing.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Credit Card Security
All online transactions that are processed on a secure server will always display the golden padlock in the bottom right hand corner of your computer screen. Also, https:// will show in the address bar. All credit card numbers are encrypted and are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.
