Built to tackle moulding and profiling tasks with ease, the Axminster Professional SD200SM Spindle Moulder delivers excellent results every time. Featuring a precision ground cast iron bed, it is stable and vibration free, resulting in accurate machining and long term durability.

With a robust 3kW motor, the 30mm spindle offers four speed control: 1,400, 3,500, 6,000 and 8,000rpm. This allows you to match the cutter speed to your material and project; from delicate moulding blocks to large tenon cutters up to 200mm in diameter. The easy lock spindle tilt mechanism enables smooth and secure tilt adjustments between -5° and +45°, making complex angled cuts and advanced joinery work a breeze. There is a stop set at 0° vertical, which can be withdrawn to allow the spindle to tilt forward by +5°. The maximum spindle travel is 125mm.

The 1,200mm sliding table comes as standard. It enhances the material handling and precision, especially when working with larger stock. The heavy gauge aluminium extruded fence and two cast aluminium repeat stops ensure consistent results and deliver efficient repeatability with every pass. This particularly useful for when doing production pieces.

Dust extraction is handled via a 100mm outlet and a minimum airflow of 1000 m³/h is required to keep your workspace clean.

N.B. This spindle moulder requires a 16amp supply and it’s recommended that a C Type breaker is used, if you are unsure please contact a qualified electrician.
