AP254SB Professional Table Saw

The Axminster Professional AP254SB Saw Bench is built for daily use in a busy workshop. It has been carefully designed to include many useful features. It offers an impressive 80mm depth of cut and with its cast iron, right hand extension table allowing a generous 695mm width of cut to the fence. The motor, castings and trunnions are all mounted on the saw’s chassis. This is a much better and stronger option as it doesn’t place any stress on the underside of the table.

The AP254SB’s chassis is heavy gauge steel, supporting the smooth cast iron table. A quality mitre fence runs in T-slot grooves provided on both sides of the blade. The full length fence is a rigid T-style which locks at the front, adjustment is smooth and easy. The rip fence comes with a Hi/Lo aluminium auxiliary fence.

The 2.5kW 1ph quiet and powerful induction motor gives you all the oomph required. Blade adjustment for height and tilt are controlled separately on individual handwheels.

A steel rear take-off is also supplied. Two point dust extraction is via a 63mm connection on the blade guard hose combined with a 100mm outlet at the rear of the machine. Connection to a suitable extractor is recommended.

Supplied with an Axcaliber TCT general purpose blade, R/H side and rear extension tables. The R/H extension is 800mm long x 440mm wide offering a max cutting width of 695mm.

Optional accessories include Sliding Crosscut Table, Overhead Crown Guard and Dado Blade Set for grooving.

N.B. This Machine requires a 16amp supply and it’s recommended that a C Type breaker is used, if you are unsure please contact a qualified electrician.
