AW300DS Workshop 300mm Disc Sander – 230V

The AW300DS has an 300mm diameter aluminium disc driven by a quiet 750W induction motor. It has a no-volt-release switch and a brake to slow the disc down in a reasonable time.

The cast iron sanding table has a ground top surface with a slot for the mitre fence. The unique mitre fence has two faces at 90° and can produce LH and RH 45° bevels without resetting. The table tilts up to 45° and firmly locks at both sides.

Efficient dust extraction is via a 63mm outlet. A 450mm length of flexible hose is provided with the machine for connection to a vacuum or similar extractor.

Overall, the AW300DS is solid, weighty and stable and does a good job when it comes to sanding to a line and similar tasks.

Self adhesive abrasive discs are available in a wide range of grits.

Tip: Self adhesive discs can easily be removed complete with their glue by gently warming with a hot air gun (or a simple hair drier) before removing.
