The Axminster Professional SD3962B Bandsaw delivers excellent reliability and precision expected in a demanding, professional workshop.

Featuring a spacious 633 x 485mm cast iron table, this bandsaw provides an impressive 335mm depth of cut and 460mm throat capacity, making it ideal for tackling large and complex projects. The table is mounted on heavy duty cast iron trunnions, offering excellent support to the work and results in smooth running timber. The balanced 500mm cast iron blade wheels and solid cast iron table minimise vibration for smoother, more consistent results when working with materials of all sizes such as large panels or thick hardwoods.

Switching from heavy rip cuts to fine, detailed work is effortless thanks to the solid Hi-Low, aluminium extruded rip fence. It’s mounted on a solid steel bar, offering support for the workpiece. Quick-release blade tensioning ensures fast, simple setup and adjustment, as well as minimised downtime. The twin bearing blade guides are easy to adjust and are perfect for larger cuts and blades.

Powered by a 3-phase 3kW motor, the SD3962B bandsaw has a balanced power supply and is low in vibration, providing ample cutting force. The rack and pinion table tilt mechanism allows for precise and rapid angle adjustments, further enhancing versatility.

For safety and cleanliness, micro-switched doors automatically stop the blade within 10 seconds of opening, while twin 100mm dust extraction ports help maintain a clear, dust-free workspace.
