The Axminster Workshop Wide Stone Bench Grinder is a versatile machine, perfect for a home workshop or woodturner. The machine runs smoothly and is mounted on rubber feet. It features two white 150mm aluminum oxide wheels, a 20mm wide 60G wheel on one side and a 40mm wide 80G wheel on the other. The 20mm wheel is perfect for general grinding and reshaping of metal. Whilst the 40mm white wheel is designed for sharpening or touching up the edge of wood turning and other tools. White aluminium oxide stones have far less tendency to overheat a chisel or blade, a light touch when sharpening is still best. The AW1502WSG 250W grinder has strong tool rests, which can be angled and locked in position.

The grinder comes equipped with tool rests, spark guards and eye shields.

Note: When a grinder is new or when changing stones it is important to dress the stones to ensure the front face runs true. The grinder is supplied with a diamond dresser to ensure you get the most out of your grinder.
